AUJS has spread its wings this winter by putting together an exciting array of activities for tertiary aged students. Each year AUJS has offered winter camps which have traditionally been one of the largest events in the AUJS calendar, attracting up to 300 students each year. Despite this, Shana Kerlander the rosh tochnit (head of programmes) from last years winter camp commented "... It is AUJSs responsibility to offer diverse activities so each Jewish student has an opportunity to get involved".

"Revival", this years winter camp will be held in the picturesque Grampians National Park, Victoria.
"Winter camp is always a great opportunity to meet new people and to re-unite with old friends" Zvi Teichtal, the programme co-ordinator said.
As well as innovative programmes, cozy bon-fires and delicious camp food, revival will also include canoeing, absailing, archery, a ropes course and rock climbing.

This will include many activities from BBQs to Night Clubs and even a car rally, to name a few.
The ski-trip to New Zealand is a milestone in AUJSs history of activities. There has been great interest shown from both active members of AUJS and students who have had no previous involvement.
"Who said Jews dont play sport?" commented Jason Greenberg, the co-ordinator of the ski-trip.
" for what we are offering, we have managed to put together a package at a reasonable price", added Mr Greenberg.

Kol Isha brings together Jewish women from around the globe, to gather in Israel to promote womens leadership with the Jewish world and specifically to recognize the needs of Jewish students.
"Kol Isha presents a unique opportunity to experience Israel from a womens point of view" commented Rachel Kafka AUJSs national Womens Officer.
"Apart from spending four weeks in educational seminars , women are given a chance to meet other student leaders from around the world and enjoy exploring Israel through hikes, adventures and cultural entertainment" added Ms Kafka.
